Sorry for such simple questions, but I want to get this right the first time.

Under "comments:" at http://www.google.com/addurl/, what should I put down? Also, am I looking to write a descriptive sentence OR keywords? If keywords, what character do I use to separate the keywords?

Hi,

You can either add the keywords or description regarding the URL which you need to submit in Google. You can separate the keywords by comma [,].

Put in a keyword rich as well as meaningful summary of your site in the comments section.

If you want to write something in that url,then put your website's url and if you want to put keywords,then it should in separate part.IF you are new and make your site in top most rank,then you have to do this with a good seo professional.

I heartily agree.
If we look at what happens with a new site organically found
we get a transference of PR from the established site to the new site.

If you submit to Google manually there is no transference of PR. The new site ends up with 0 PR transferred.

I have an article on this on my DCP site. The logic of submitting or not submitting to Google.

Does AddURL really work? Can it hurt if you add the site and Google already knows you exist?
